For this year’s International Women’s Day pop-up exhibition at Vodnikova Domačija, the artist created a citrus diptych featuring a lemon (Citrus x limon) and an orange (Citrus x sinensis). These fruits were chosen in connection with the exhibition’s theme, which marked March 8th by emphasizing the concept of ripening and the cyclical nature of the female body, paralleled with the ripening of fruit. The illustrations explore both the aesthetic and symbolic relationships between nature and the female experience, offering a gentle reflection on growth, transformation, and the significance of cycles in life.
