Tjaša Bon (b. 1998) is an illustrator and photographer. She earned her master’s degree in 2024 with the project Toxic Hallucinogenic Plants and Fungi of Slovenia in an Illustrated Book. Her work focuses on the intersection of illustration and photography, with a particular emphasis on scientific illustration. In her projects, she explores botanical and mycological themes, examines textures characteristic of analog photography, and investigates the relationship between art and science.
Her work has been exhibited at DobraVaga Gallery, Vodnik Homestead, the Maribor Art Gallery, Cankarjev dom Gallery, Volčji Potok Arboretum, the University of Ljubljana Botanic Garden, Račka Gallery, the Slovenian National Theatre Drama Ljubljana, the Layer House, as well as at events such as Ilustrofest in Belgrade and the Festival of Slovenian Film in Portorož.
Tjaša Bon creates projects that merge scientific precision with artistic expression, contributing to a deeper understanding of nature and raising awareness of the importance of the natural world.
Tjaša Bon (1998) je ilustratorka in fotografinja, magistrirala je leta 2024 z delom Strupene halucinogene rastline in glive Slovenije v ilustrirani knjigi. Njeno delo se osredotoča na preplet ilustracije in fotografije, s posebnim poudarkom na znanstveni ilustraciji. V svojih projektih raziskuje botanične in mikološke motive, preučuje teksture, značilne za analogno fotografijo, ter raziskuje interakcijo med umetnostjo in znanostjo.
Njena dela so bila razstavljena v Galeriji DobraVaga, Vodnikovi domačiji, Umetnostni galeriji Maribor, Galeriji Cankarjevega doma, Arboretumu Volčji Potok, Botaničnem vrtu Univerze v Ljubljani, Galeriji Račka, SNG Drama Ljubljana, Layerjevi hiši, ter na dogodkih, kot sta Ilustrofest v Beogradu in Festival slovenskega filma v Portorožu.
Tjaša Bon ustvarja projekte, ki povezujejo znanstveno natančnost z umetniškim izražanjem, s čimer prispeva k boljšemu razumevanju narave in ozaveščanju o pomenu naravnega sveta.
